// An Italian-made Liberty cotton from the Piccadilly Poplin range - Glenjade. Taken from a 1930s Liberty Fabrics cotton pattern, Glenjade has been part of the Classic collection since 1979. This small-scale screen-printed repeat pattern is made up of a cute silhouette-style leafy floral pattern. A screen-printed design in white on a bright red base. The design is printed by experts at the Liberty Printing Mill in northern Italy onto classic cotton poplin. An attractive woven fabric with a pleasant hand feel and rich yarn construction, this poplin is characterized by the comfort and breathability that makes it perfect to wear in all seasons. Piccadilly poplin is a fine cotton fabric characterised by its closely-woven single 60s threads, combining durability with sleek, lightly sheened elegance. This non-stretch fabric is an ideal weight for tops, dresses, childrenswear and DIY projects.
