// An Italian made Liberty cotton denim - Hesketh. First printed in 1896, Hesketh’s original design was an Art Nouveau furnishing fabric unearthed within the Liberty archive. It features monochrome snowdrops on a spot background – a perfect small floral design, drawn into a stylised trail. This beautiful heavyweight double-faced denim is denseley woven with a classic twill face which has been printed, and the plain coloured reverse which is woven in a plain ivory on the surface so the fabric can be used on either side. The clever stucture of this reversible fabric means the print is almost completely obscured on the reverse, and gives endless design possibilities! A sturdy fabric with a subtle lustre and slight width stretch making it ideal for trousers, jackets, jumpsuits and skirts.
