 // A New Zealand made lightweight Nuyarn merino jersey in black. This soft fabric has mechanical stretch due to the knitted structure and naturally occurring slubs throughout.  Merino wool is a soft hypoallergenic fibre with unique thermal properties that is easy care (machine washable). It is ideal for a wide range of fashion garments, sportswear, thermal layers and next-to-skin basics.

Nuyarn technology drafts merino fibres along a high-performance nylon core, creating a structure that amplifies the fibre’s natural properties, with only merino able to touch your skin. The technology eliminates the ‘twist’ in the spinning process, using 25% less overall energy consumption than a typical blend spinning method. The end result is an ultra-light, naturally stretchy, merino fabric that can stand up to more washes and longer use.

Merino wool is an amazing trans-seasonal fabric thanks to its unique thermal properties. Merino wool fibres have a natural crimp, which traps air and acts as a fantastic insulator, while its moisture-wicking and odour-resistant properties draw sweat away from the skin, keeping you dry and comfortable. Merino is super soft due to its superfine, hypoallergenic fibre. A great machine washable choice for a variety of garments.
