Super simple to sew, with a relaxed tapered leg, easy-wear elasticated waist and extended size range, these trousers are a must-make. Miller Trouser by Paper Theory + Ogden Cami by True Bias
Paper Theory released the Miller Trouser late last year and caught our eye; simple, clean silhouettes in trousers are hard to find! The Miller Trousers are a relaxed and easy to wear style, with the option of an elasticated or tie waist. Tara has designed them to sit high on your natural waist above your belly button. They feature a slim tapering leg with a pleat in the front for extra fullness, deep side pockets and a dart in the back waist for shaping.
We made up version A (with no waist tie) in size 8 for Ella and the fit is great! The lower leg is on the slim side and we'd suggest measuring the pattern pieces (minus seam allowance) against your calf measurement to make sure the finished garment isn't too tight! Our pair took 1.7m of Vintage Finish Linen in Chartreuse and approximately 60cm of elastic.
The instructions were straightforward and included helpful illustrations for sewing the front pleats and pocket bag. Version A (with no waist tie) would be perfect for a beginner sewist as the method of construction is simple.

The Ogden Cami is hugely popular as it's a super simple make and also an easy pattern to hack into a dress! Ella is wearing a size 4, which took 1.1m of our Vintage Finish Linen.
